Spring Break - No palm trees and tanning...just packing boxes!

The packing is in full swing as I head into this Wednesday afternoon. Everything is coming along nicely! It's a small miracle that I've actually managed to pack and label about seven boxes already. As you can see from the pictures, the real miracle isn't that they're packed, it's that they're labeled (color coded, actually) according to room they belong in and the contents in the box. If you know me, you know that hell sure must have frozen over because Amanda Cordes is not an organized person by any stretch of the imagination. Here's some proof that I'm not lying :)

It makes me feel good to be this far along, but now I'm procrastinating. It's time to get back to work!!

Less Than A Month Away!

I really can't rationalize the reason for starting a blog to chronicle this part of my life, but I really do feel compelled to record it for some reason. I'm hopeless when it comes to diaries, and I'm pretty weak keeping up a regular blog, too, but perhaps this outlet, just existing, will help me deal with the anxiety of moving out of home and into my first place!

As I was creating "We're Moving!" address cards to send out on Tiny Prints, I had an extra line free for more text. Without much thought, I decided that I needed to start a blog and let everyone know the address in that blank space. So here we are!

I started making some big dents in the packing process and found this super helpful packing checklist. I'm getting close but I have a lot of purging left to do. We're still looking for an entertainment stand for the TV in the living room, so if anyone has one they're looking to get rid of, let us know!
